Zorro
Now approaching one year old, Zorro is a little charmer. We always intended to keep just a bitch from Moss' litter, but when Zorro emerged his unique colouring and markings were obvious immediately. There was no way he was leaving! What a good choice he has proven to be: a mild mannered character, completely dissimilar to his sister Bramble who is brash and super confident.
Zorro is not going to be the biggest whippet in the world but he has a good shape and we think he's a really handsome lad. On our track Zorro is showing a good turn of speed and competes well with his mother. As for lure coursing, he is entered for a trial with our club where we intend to run him singly from slips. We have practised slipping him for a while now so fingers crossed for him to perform in some style this next weekend. Full report to follow!
